Partner and General Counsel
Mr. Estes is a partner in and general counsel for Appian Capital providing oversight on legal and compliance matters for the firm. Mr. Estes has been practicing real estate law for nearly 35 years, focusing primarily on ownership representation in the purchase, sale, financing, construction and leasing of office, multi-family, hotel and industrial buildings, both in San Francisco and throughout the United States.
He is also an active real estate investor in numerous class types. While in private practice, he practiced at O’Melveny and Myers LLP, where he was a partner. He graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and summa cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law and currently resides in San Francisco.
