Associate, Investor Relations
Kate works closely with Appian’s leadership to evaluate investment opportunities and communicate with investors. She is also responsible for market research and supporting Appian’s relationships with real estate operators.
Prior to joining Appian, Kate was a reporter at the Idaho Statesman, where she wrote about growth and real estate development in Boise, Idaho. During her time at the Statesman, she expanded the paper’s reporting into Meridian, Nampa and Eagle, Idaho, writing about everything from real estate deals to zoning laws to homeowners’ association battles. In 2019, the Idaho Press Club awarded her articles first place in each of the following categories: general news, spot news coverage, elections reporting and multimedia reporting. She graduated magna cum laude from Brown University, where she received her B.A. degree in Urban Studies.
